Overview
3" fully double blooms in an exquisite shade of ivory to soft apricot are lush with abundant layering and ruffling. Group 2, for early spring to summer harvest. Lisianthus is also known as prairie gentian, Texas bluebell, and showy prairie gentian. Pelleted seeds.
Planting
Start indoors 10-12 weeks before last spring frost on moist seed-starting mix (press pelleted seeds into surface, do not bury); transplant hardened-off seedlings after all frost danger and soil warms to 60°F
Growing
Sun: partial. Water: high. Soil: Well-draining loam or potting soil enriched with compost, neutral to slightly acidic (pH 6.0-7.0). Space plants 12" apart. Germination: 10-14 days.

Common pests: Spider mites, thrips, whiteflies. Common diseases: Botrytis (gray mold), Fusarium wilt, root rot in poorly drained soil.
