Overview
Big, heavy, green heads mature early on large plants. Can be grown for traditional harvest in fall, but is also suitable for summer production in areas with moderate heat, and winter production in mild areas.
Planting
Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost, or direct sow seeds in garden
Growing
Sun: partial. Water: high. Soil: Well-drained loam, rich in organic matter, slightly acidic to neutral. Space plants 18" apart. Germination: 7-14 days.
