Overview
From the Spencer series. Slightly ruffled, pure white blooms with a hint of cream color. NOTE: Spencer series sweet peas are known as late-flowering because they require at least 12 hours of daylight, unlike more modern sweet pea varieties bred for winter production, which may require only 10-11 hours of daylight. Attracts hummingbirds.
Planting
Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost, or direct sow 4-6 weeks before final frost. Scarify seeds and soak 12-24 hours before planting.
Growing
Sun: full. Water: high. Soil: Well-draining loam, slightly alkaline (pH 7.0-7.5 preferred). Space plants 6" apart. Germination: 7-14 days.

Common pests: Aphids, spider mites, thrips. Common diseases: Powdery mildew, root rot, fusarium wilt.
