  • Overview

    A dramatic black rose succulent that forms stunning dark purple-black rosettes on branching stems. This architectural beauty creates incredible contrast in succulent arrangements and turns nearly black in bright light. The rosettes can reach impressive sizes and occasionally produce tall spikes of bright yellow flowers.

  • Planting

    Propagate from stem cuttings or offsets. Allow to callus for several days before planting.

  • Growing

    Sun: partial. Soil pH: 6.5–7.5. Space plants 18" apart. Germination: 14-21 (from leaf cuttings).

  • Pests & diseases

    Common pests: Aphids, mealybugs, scale insects. Common diseases: Root rot, stem rot from overwatering or poor drainage.
