Overview
Novel, 2-3" blooms with lovely green-gold color and slightly ruffled petals. Group 1, best suited for spring production. Lisianthus is also known as prairie gentian, Texas bluebell, and showy prairie gentian. Pelleted seeds.
Planting
Start indoors 8-10 weeks before target bloom date. Sow seeds on moist surface of seed-starting mix without covering (seeds need light). Maintain 70-75°F soil temperature. Transplant outdoors after last frost once hardened off.
Growing
Sun: partial. Water: low. Soil: Well-draining, fertile loam with pH 6.0-6.5. Space plants 12" apart. Germination: 10-14 days.

Common pests: Whiteflies, spider mites, aphids (primarily when grown indoors or in warm climates). Common diseases: Powdery mildew, root rot, damping-off (seedlings).
