Overview
Pistachio-green blooms are 2-2 1/2" wide, deeply layered and lightly ruffled. Flowers are a truer green than Rosanne Green, which is closer to a green-gold hue. Group 2, for early spring to summer harvest. Lisianthus is also known as prairie gentian, Texas bluebell, and showy prairie gentian. Pelleted seeds.
Planting
Start indoors 8-10 weeks before last spring frost on moist seed-starting mix under humid conditions (70-75°F soil temperature). Transplant outdoors after frost danger passes.
Growing
Sun: partial. Water: high. Soil: Well-draining, slightly fertile loam or potting mix. Space plants 12" apart. Germination: 10-14 days.

Common pests: Aphids, thrips, whiteflies. Common diseases: Powdery mildew, root rot, gray mold (Botrytis).
