Overview
Tall, fancy, vibrant red heads avg. 11-12" tall by 3-3 1/2" wide. Good for salads, slaws, and attractive red kimchi. Similar color but much more slender than Merlot. NOTE: There are 4-5% green Napa-type off-types in this variety.
Planting
Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost, or direct sow after last frost for fall crops
Growing
Sun: shade. Water: high. Soil: Well-drained loam, slightly acidic to neutral. Space plants 18" apart. Germination: 7-14 days.
