  • Overview

Creamy pale yellow (almost white) petals on a dark center. Combines well with soft or vivid colors and is every bit as early and reliable as the other well-known ProCut colors. Single-stem plants have tall, strong stems and 4-6", pollenless blooms. NOTE: Light-colored petals are more susceptible to damage by insect feeding. To avoid insect damage, we encourage harvesting blooms just as they begin to open and storing until they open to the desired appearance. Another exciting introduction from US plant breeder Dr. Tom Heaton and company. Pollenless. Single stem.

  • Planting

Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost, press into moist seed-starting mix without burying (light-dependent germination), transplant outdoors after all frost danger and soil warming

  • Growing

Sun: full. Water: moderate. Soil: Well-drained loam; adaptable to various soil types if drainage is adequate. Space plants 18" apart. Germination: 7-14 days.

  • Pests & diseases

Common pests: Japanese beetles, June beetles, blister beetles, aphids. Common diseases: Powdery mildew (in humid conditions), root rot (in waterlogged soil).
