Planting
Direct sow seed in fall outdoors for natural winter stratification, or cold-stratify indoors 30-60 days and sow in spring indoors; transplant rhizomes in spring or fall
Growing
Sun: partial. Water: low. Soil pH: 6–8. Space plants 12" apart. Germination: 56-84 days (after 30-60 day cold stratification period).
