Overview
New Red Fire is relatively slow, but produces uniform, heavy heads of brightly colored, frilly leaves. MT0-30. Also available with NOP-compliant pelleting.
Planting
Direct sow 1/4 inch deep. Can succession plant from spring through early fall. Thrives in cool weather but heat tolerant.
Growing
Sun: partial. Water: moderate. Soil pH: 6–7. Space plants 6" apart. Germination: 7-10.
