Overview
Early maturing and good field holding of long, thick shanks creates a very high yield potential. Less bulbing and splitting, and easier to peel than open-pollinated varieties. Vigorous and uniform.
Planting
Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost, or transplant sets directly in spring
Growing
Sun: partial. Water: high. Soil: Well-drained loam, slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0-7.0). Space plants 4" apart. Germination: 7-10 days.

Common pests: Onion maggots, thrips, cutworms, wireworms. Common diseases: Fusarium basal rot, pink root, downy mildew, white rot.
