Overview
Elegant, clean-white blooms with white centers (bees). Excellent for wedding design. Dwarf Pacific type with full florets and tight internodes. Magic Fountains' sturdy, compact plants will tolerate windy locations. Attracts bees and butterflies. This species of delphinium is also known as candle larkspur. Perennial in Zones 3-7.
Planting
Start indoors 8-10 weeks before last frost date; seeds need light to germinate, so press onto soil surface without covering. Alternatively, direct-sow in fall in Zones 7+ for spring germination via natural stratification.
Growing
Sun: full. Water: high. Soil: Well-drained loam with neutral to slightly alkaline pH (6.5-7.5); amended with compost and perlite for optimal drainage. Space plants 18" apart. Germination: 7-14 days.

Common diseases: Powdery mildew, crown rot (in poorly drained soil).
