  • Overview

    These unusually shaped peppers resemble a bishop's crown. Fruits avg. 2 1/4" in diameter and are borne on big bushy plants. Moderately sweet flesh with floral and citrus notes and a touch of heat near the seed cavity. AAS Winner.

  • Planting

    Start indoors 8-10 weeks before last spring frost, ¼ inch deep; transplant outdoors after last frost when soil reaches 60-70°F

  • Growing

    Sun: full. Water: high. Soil: Well-draining loam enriched with compost or aged manure, slightly acidic to neutral (pH 6.0-7.0). Space plants 18" apart. Germination: 14-21 days.

  • Pests & diseases

    Common pests: Spider mites, aphids, flea beetles, thrips. Common diseases: Blossom end rot (calcium deficiency from inconsistent watering), phytophthora blight, pepper weevil.
