Overview
Tall plants with large fully double and semidouble blooms. Pure white flowers with a small percentage displaying a soft blush of pink. Cosmos are also known as garden cosmos.
Planting
Direct sow after last frost, or start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost and transplant after frost danger passes
Growing
Sun: partial. Water: low. Soil: Well-drained, poor to average soil; tolerates sandy or loamy conditions. Space plants 12" apart. Germination: 7-10 days.
Pests & diseases
Common pests: Spider mites, aphids, whiteflies. Common diseases: Powdery mildew, root rot in overly wet conditions.
