    An old-fashioned favorite that epitomizes cottage garden charm with its delicate, papery petals in soft pastels and feathery foliage. This easy-care annual self-sows readily and blooms continuously until frost, attracting beneficial insects and providing armloads of cut flowers.   • Planting

    Direct sow after last frost when soil is warm. Barely cover seeds. Can start indoors 4-5 weeks early but direct sowing preferred.
