    Tall, well-branched plants produce vibrant copper, double blooms 2-2 1/2" across. Also known as bracted strawflower.

    Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost and transplant after frost, or direct sow after soil warms to 60°F

  • Growing

    Sun: full. Water: low. Soil: Well-drained soil; tolerates poor and sandy conditions. Space plants 12" apart. Germination: 7-14 days.

    Common pests: Spider mites (especially in hot, dry conditions). Common diseases: Powdery mildew (in humid, poorly ventilated locations).
