Overview
Beautiful shanks can achieve impressive length. Comanche is a midseason leek with medium blue-green foliage. Its upright plant habit makes for easier cultivation. Also available in organic seed.
Planting
Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last spring frost, or direct sow after last frost
Growing
Sun: partial. Water: high. Soil: Well-drained loam, rich in organic matter, slightly acidic to neutral. Space plants 4" apart. Germination: 7-14 days.
