  • Overview

    Medium-large, relatively smooth round roots with buff-colored skin. Interiors are white and flavorful and resist pithiness and hollow heart. Also available with NOP-compliant pelleting.

    Surface sow tiny seeds on moist medium, press lightly, keep covered until germination. Seeds need light to germinate.

  • Growing

    Sun: full. Water: high. Soil pH: 6–7. Space plants 2" apart. Germination: 7-14.

  • Pests & diseases

    Common pests: Aphids, spider mites in dry conditions. Common diseases: Damping off, leaf blight, septoria leaf spot in humid conditions.
