Overview
Cascadia boasts high yields of 2 1/2-3" pods on 18-20" vines. Similar in maturity to PLS 141, but with slightly smaller pod size. 2 pods per node on upright plants. Remove string from pods before cooking.
Planting
Direct sow 2-4 weeks before last frost. Can succession plant every 2 weeks for continuous harvest.
Growing
Sun: partial. Water: high. Soil pH: 6–7. Space plants 2" apart. Germination: 7-14.
Pests & diseases
Common pests: Aphids, thrips, pea weevils, leaf miners. Common diseases: Root rot (in poorly drained soils), bacterial blight, downy mildew.
