  • Overview

    A compact cantaloupe perfect for northern gardens and small spaces, developed at the University of Minnesota. This early-maturing variety produces sweet, orange-fleshed fruits on short vines that can even be grown in containers. Despite its small size, the flavor rivals full-sized cantaloupes with excellent sweetness and aroma.

  • Planting

    Direct sow after soil reaches 65°F, or start indoors 2-3 weeks before last frost. Transplant carefully to avoid root disturbance.

    Sun: full. Soil pH: 6–7. Space plants 18" apart. Germination: 4-10.

    Common pests: Cucumber beetles, aphids, squash bugs, spider mites. Common diseases: Powdery mildew, downy mildew, bacterial wilt, anthracnose.
