    Who wouldn't want a beautiful pale pink zinnia? In 2018, Johnny's Breeding Team began work selecting for the pastel color palette. Ballerina's 4-6" flowers are a blend of soft pink and pale peach, with a mix of both dahlia- and cactus-type blooms. Produces a high percentage of double blooms. May contain a few off-types of ivory, dark pink, or yellow.

    Direct sow after last frost when soil reaches 70°F, or start indoors 4-6 weeks before transplanting

  • Growing

    Sun: full. Water: moderate. Soil: Well-drained, moderately fertile loam with pH 5.5-7.5. Space plants 9" apart. Germination: 5-10 days.

    Common pests: Aphids, Japanese beetles, spider mites, cucumber beetles. Common diseases: Powdery mildew, bacterial leaf spot, alternaria blight, botrytis.
